Surgery for Back Pain

This section will outline and describe some of the more common surgical options available for those with low back pain. This section is basically for you to have a better understanding of what happens with certain procedures if you are due to have them.

I find that many people have surgery or some sort of other medical intervention but are not very clear about what they have actually had done. This is often due to the complex medical language used by the doctors and patients are too embarrassed to ask for clarification for fear of looking ignorant! Incredible but true!

If you have surgery, it is really important to know what you are having done, after all knowledge is power and if I was having surgery I would want to know what was happening, wouldn't you?!
